Hospitals, clinics & polyclinics

Every ward and clinic on one patient record

Registration, consultation, orders, wards, maternity and billing work from the same record, so a patient's story is complete wherever they are seen — and the claim at the end of it is built from what actually happened.

The H-Link encounters list, showing patient, visit type, chief complaint, provider and status for each visit.

The problem

What it is built to fix

Records in three places

Paper folders, a billing system and a lab system that do not talk to each other, reconciled by hand at month end.

Claims paid months late

Claims put together by hand at month end go out late, and the cuts NHIA makes come back without an explanation anyone can act on.

Software built for somewhere else

Imported systems priced in dollars per bed, designed for workflows and payers that do not exist here.

Workflow

One visit, one record

  1. Register

The patient is found or registered, and their NHIS membership and Claim Check Code recorded.

  2. Triage

Vitals and the presenting complaint are recorded once.

  3. Consult

The clinician documents, diagnoses and orders from the same screen.

  4. Results & dispensing

Lab, imaging and pharmacy work from the orders — no re-entry.

  5. Bill & claim

Charges and the NHIS claim are built from what happened.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work for a clinic without inpatient beds?

Yes. Modules are switched on per facility, so a clinic runs outpatient, pharmacy and lab without ever seeing ward screens.

How does NHIS claiming work?

Claims are assembled from the encounter — diagnoses, services, medicines — and validated against NHIS rules before they are batched for submission, so errors are fixed while the record is still open.

Can we bring our existing patient records?

Yes. Patient demographics and history can be imported during onboarding, and H-Link exchanges data with other systems over FHIR R4 and HL7 v2.
